Dwellers exploring the wasteland can discover locations. Sometimes when exploring this discovered location, dwellers will meet survivors. The dweller will invite the survivor to the Vault. This survivor will run to the Vault door when collecting the dweller that found them. These survivors are rare dwellers and will have increased stats.
Why are Vault dwellers sent out into the wasteland?
They are the ones who do the work, making the power, water and food that the Vault requires to survive. They are also sent out into the wasteland to explore for supplies. Ensuring their happiness and safety should be one of the overseer’s primary concerns.
How long do you let a dweller roam the wasteland?
Closed 4 years ago. The longest I’ve allowed a Dweller to explore the Wasteland is 12 hours and they’re still only finding BB Guns and other useless junk. So, how do you usually equip your explorers, how many do you send out at once, how long do you let them roam the Wastes, and what are their stats?

How do I use Stimpaks and RadAways on Dwellers in the Wasteland? So, in Fallout Shelter, whenever I send my Dwellers to the Wasteland, I give them five Stimpaks and five RadAways, but they never use them when they are injured/radiated.
