On Windows
- Navigate to the Feed The Beast website and click the download button under “Windows”.
- Click and run the .exe file after it has finished downloading.
- It will take a moment to load, after it has, click Next.
- Change the directory if you wish, then next again.

The simple answer is: yes…and no. If you are a viewer, you have to be logged into the platform in order for the streamer to ‘see’ you. If you wish to remain anonymous, then you make sure that you are logged out.

You can now play offline. You just need to log in once with net to get the mods. New release. Mojang server downtime. No internet connection. That change is great, but now it’s not remembering my password. Is that intentional? you should just need to edit your profile and select “remember password” again and then enter your password in the field
Why was the feed the Beast launcher created?
At some point a decision was made to combine all of the mods into an easily distributable pack, as well as create a launcher that would streamline installation. These maps became extremely popular and in order to allow more people access to the maps the FTB Launcher was created.
Do you have to have Internet to play Minecraft offline?
The FTB requires you to have internet so you can log in through the minecraft login servers. They do not support Offline mode even if you have a paid account. That stinks. I still have my vanilla world to play in those times at least! Login servers are down at this time due to traffic. We can’t fix that since it’s on Mojang end. OK, thanks!
