Minecarts almost always despawn. Minecarts despawn even if there are newer changes to the chunk which are correctly auto-saved before crashing.
How do you block a minecart?
(1) Decide where you want your minecarts to stop, if you want them to stop at all. Remove two blocks from underneath your track. Next, place two powered rails in the empty space as seen above. (2) Place two blocks behind the stop location, one block from the powered rails.
Can you carry full chest Minecraft?
There is no way in vanilla Minecraft to expand your inventory, whether by commands or by other means. If you wish to have a larger inventory, you could try making an Ender Chest and using one slot of your inventory to carry it around. Note that you need a silk touch pick in order to pick it back up.
Will items move in unloaded chunks?
No. Sorry there isnt a better answer but as soon as it goes out of an unloaded chunk, it stops getting updated and will not move any longer. There are mods out there that can keep chunks active for a server so you might want to look into those, but not by default.

Hopper minecarts can pick up items that are on a normal block one block above the hopper minecart, but can’t pick up items that are on a container block one block above the hopper minecart.
Can a chest be taken out of a minecart?
