Microsoft is announcing today that Xbox Party Chat will be free for Xbox owners soon. Xbox testers can now access multiplayer free-to-play games like Fortnite, without needing an Xbox Live Gold subscription.

Sign in to Xbox Live. On the controller, press the Guide button . Select Chat….Specify your online safety settings:
- Go to Settings and select Privacy.
- Select Change settings.
- Select Customise.
- Select Voice and Text.
