BioWare has announced a heavily story-focused expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic called Knights of the Fallen Empire. It’s coming 27th October, it raises the level cap to 65, and it will be free to anyone who chooses to subscribe to the free-to-play MMO.

Yes, you need to be level 60, however, you do not need to finish the story or anything, just be level 60.

Go to the triangle on the menu on the top of your screen. Go to chapters and select the one you wish to start. If you purchased the expansion and have your character ready, you can access chapter 1 and begin playing that way. It worked for me.
