What happens at the end of the game in Carcassonne?
At the end of the game an uncompleted Cloister only scores the points for the tile itself and all surrounding tiles. Followers placed on Fields are called Farmers. Farmers and their Fields are only scored at the end of the game. Connected Field segments create a larger Field.
How are farmers separated from one another in Carcassonne?
Fields are separated from one another by Roads, Cities, and the edge of the board. During the game Farmers don’t return to the players’ supply, to indicate this, Farmers are placed lying down on tiles instead of placed standing up.
How many points do you get for a monk in Carcassonne?
Followers placed in Cloisters are called Monks. Monks score points for completed Cloisters. A Cloister is completed once it is surrounded by 8 tiles. The player who owns the Monk in this Cloister then scores 9 points, 1 for each surrounding tile and 1 for the Cloister itself.
