A creature that has “summoning sickness” cannot attack or activate abilities that have or in their costs. A summoning sick creature can tap to activate its own ability that asks for something to be tapped.

A creature that is summoning sick cannot attack, and cannot be tapped to pay costs represented by the tap symbol (this also applies to abilities with the Untap symbol as a cost, but those are pretty much entirely contained in the Lorwyn block).

You stiill can’t attack or activate their activated abilities when they’re summoning sick, but you can use them to pay costs on abilities. weird thing because vehicles says “tap” which means that little tap symbol, and you cannot tap a creature that was just summoned.
