You can teleport from the freighter to another location but not from another location to the freighter.

it is not possible to place a portel in your freighter That is absolutely incorrect. On a whim I placed a portal on my freighter, in the large storage room at the back. I don’t have any mods installed, nor have I cheated in any way.
