The war base can not be directly upgraded or rearranged, but will instead mimic the arrangement and highest completed upgrade levels of your village during the preparation day. Buildings and traps will never be “under construction” in your war base.
Which army is best for TH9?
If you are a town hall level 8, use 2 PEKKA and 19 wiz with 1 archer as well as 1 heal. Town hall 9s use 0 archers with 18 wiz, 3 pekka and 2 heals….High level TH9 GoWiPe.

Can you upgrade clan castles before battle day?
However, upgraded clan castles will NOT reflect their new, higher troop capacity, unless it finishes BEFORE Prep Day begins. That is the only exception I am aware of to date. But overall, upgrading bases are more fluid than ever until Battle Day. The note about clan castles on the war map is pretty important. +1 for that alone.
When do castles change appearance in war and order?
War and Order Castles change their appearance at certain levels: 14 (red rooftop), 19 (blue Castle), 22 (green Castle), 26 (walls around the Castle), 30 (red Castle), 31 (star shap ed Castle).
What happens when you upgrade your base in Clan Wars?
Whatever the highest level your buildings are before the end of the preparation day is the level of those buildings during the war.
