Do you need DLC for all DLC creatures?
All dlc creatures are part of the core game files, allowing everyone that doesnt have the dlc to still be able to interact with the creatures from the dlc. You could even go as far as manually adding all dlc spawns to the island map without ever owning the dlc. All the dlc is for is to unlock the original map the creatures are from.
