Accepted answer #1. An exiled creature is removed from the battlefield entirely. All auras fall off immediately when it’s exiled, as well as counters. When it returns, it is a brand new creature entering the battlefield, and thus is untapped, with summoning sickness, and it triggers any ETB triggers.
