What is a nonbasic land?
Nonbasic lands are lands that do not have the basic supertype. As per Magic rules, only 4 of each nonbasic land can be in a deck at any one time. Basic lands do not have this restriction. Note that a nonbasic land may have a basic land type (Plains, Island, etc).
Can a nonbasic land give you mana every turn?

Players can’t play nonbasic lands with the same name as a nontoken permanent. Devoid (This card has no color.) Exile target nonbasic land. Search its controller’s graveyard, hand, and library for any number of cards with the same name as that land and exile them. Then that player shuffles.
