To go out, a player must get rid of all of their cards by hitting and discarding. Any players who completed their Phase, will advance to the next Phase for the next hand, while any player not able to complete their Phase remain on that same Phase for the next hand.
Do you have to discard when you go out?
Some people play that in order to go out, you must end your turn by discarding your last card. You are not allowed to meld all your cards, leaving nothing to discard.
Is phase 10 the same as Uno?
