Only the enchantment is destroyed as Tear makes no mention of destroying the creature it is attached to. However, if you had played the Hopeful without bestowing it,then targeted it with Tear , the Hopeful would have died as it is still an Enchantment type. TL;DR: Tear can only destroy Enchanments.
