Does it matter what difficulty you play world of light?
There are no difficulty-based objectives or rewards. Remember that Hard was added in a day one patch as nearly an afterthought. Play on normal and don’t sweat it!
Should I play remnant on normal or Hard?
Given how challenging Remnant: From the Ashes can be, it’s recommended that you play on Normal mode. If you’re looking for a challenge, choose Hard mode. We don’t recommend choosing Nightmare unless you’re already familiar with the game, though the choice is ultimately up to you.

LOL There is no achievement for difficulty. If there was, you wouldn’t be able to switch at will. That being said, nightmare doesn’t give you better rewards than hard and so on so forth. All it does is make the game, well, harder and more tedious at times with enemies that feel like walls.
What happens to Sam as you go up in difficulty?
So far, the changes I’ve noticed as you go up in difficulty are: Sam’s balance seems to get worse. Enemies deal more damage. Human enemies will guard more. Human enemies and BTs can detect you from further away. Human enemies have more health. BTs are more aggressive when trying to locate you after triggering their chase sequence.
Do you have to grow in power to go to harder difficulties?
Multiplayer heroes must grow in power if they wish to start/join a game in the harder difficulties. The Hellfire expansion pack permits any hero access to Nightmare and Hell difficulties, even if he/she is a singleplayer hero. In addition, if the hero is in singleplayer, the game does not require them to grow in power for these levels.
Why do mules work better on harder difficulty?
On hard, MULEs will defend against frontal attacks if they’re equipped with staffs. This means you’ll have to flank them or avoid them. It also seems like human enemies work better as a team on greater difficulty. By the time you flank one, they’ll usually be flanking you.
