If you choose to just fool around with Peebee, rather than commit, romancing her does not initially affect other romances (she can be “discreet”). Likewise, choosing to wait with Peebee will grant a different romance scene later on.
Can I still romance Peebee if you kill Kalinda?
You will be forced to make a decision regarding Peebee’s old flame, Kalinda. Do not press the response button to shoot her! Peebee will be pleased if you save Kalinda’s life and thus make it easier for you to romance her.

Peebee’s loyalty mission starts automatically after the prerequisite. Head to the navpoint on the Tempest and speak with Peebee. Peebee now has the Remnant scanner up and working, and she is very excited about a signal the scanner has detected. She thinks it’s coming from some raw Remnant programming tech, a sort of Remnant wild card.
Do you want to be in a relationship with Peebee?
Answer with “I’d want the strings” to go into a relationship with her, and avoiding the fling. If you choose otherwise, you won’t be able to change it from this point on. One you’ve gone to Kadara (and have talked to Peebee about Kalinda), talk to her again to initiate the Loyalty Mission Reclaiming Poc.
How often do you have to romance Peebee in Mass Effect Andromeda?
After you’ve finished Peebee’s mission in Mass Effect: Andromeda, you will need to speak with her again at the Escape Pods to fully complete the Loyalty Mission. You must flirt with Peebee at least three times to romance her, when prompted, you can choose to enter a committed relationship with her too.
