So I got Steep a couple of days ago as a gift and for about the first few days played it with my new Xbox One controller ( hooked via Buletooth) without issue. Then after the awhile I started having issues with my controller not working right.
How can I get steep to recognize my controller?
I went to Steam>Settings>Controller>General Controller Settings, and unchecked Xbox Configuration Support. That caused my computer to stop using my controller input as mouse/keyboard input, which allowed Steep to recognize that I was using a controller. I can confirm Pug’s solution works. Thank you, Pug!
