Insert savegame
- Browse your SD card and make a backup of /3DS/Checkpoint/saves/Animal Crossing New Leaf/[your_savegame_name]/ entire folder.
- Open /3DS/Checkpoint/saves/Animal Crossing New Leaf/[your_savegame_name]/garden.dat (or garden_plus.dat) file with AC:NL Save Editor and edit it to your desire.

Can you transfer ACNL to ACNH?

Can you have more than one save file on Animal Crossing New Leaf?
You can not have multiple save files of individual towns on the same 3DS system. Every time you save your game it generates a new, random “Save ID” and stores that ID in both the SD/Savegame and the 3DS’s system memory. Trying to load a save with mismatched IDs will result in being forced to wipe the save.
Can you get rid of rocks in ACNL?
Thankfully, you can move rocks out of the way by using fruit and a shovel. When you remove a rock, it’s destroyed. However, as Polygon reported, when you destroy a rock, it will respawn on your island in a random location, so you’ll still be able to collect things like iron nuggets and stones later on.
How do I transfer my account to another switch?

- Select Transfer Your User Data.
- Select Next.
- Select Next.
- Select Source Console to identify that this is the device you’ll transfer data from.
