Does steam badge give XP?
So I just came to realize that the point badge which costs 1000 point per level only gives you 100 xp per level (just like any badge you would craft), it is not worth it in my opinion, I would rather spend these points on more animated backgrounds. I hope I am not too late with this warning.

Also, when your badge upgrades, it does not add the total onto your current XP again (as that would just be OP; overpowered). Instead, what it did was add 50XP (the difference) onto your XP count.
