The only houserules we use to make the game harder:
- Add one extra doom token each time the clock strikes Midnight. (not including 1st turn).
- You may only reroll 2 dice for each clue token spent(Joe Diamond may reroll 3)
- Unseen Forces also adds the rule that forbids the purchase of Elder Signs.
Is elder sign too easy?
Yeah actually we play Arkham consistently too, and elder sign is much easier. We play by all the rules and its still not too challenging unless our rolls are complete garbage. Playing with only one investigator apiece is OP because you stack up so many cards.
