When entering the Cyclops by docking a vehicle, the player is put into the upper midsection. On the upper front of the vessel (the bridge), the Cyclops can be piloted at the steering wheel. Press the button on the left hand side that looks like a fan in order to enable the engine.
How can we protect the Cyclops?
If a creature is coming at you, you can launch a creature decoy to divert them away from you and allowing you to escape. You may also want to use a shield generator to temporarily make the Cyclops invulnerable. The shield generator uses a significant amount power, so be sure to use it only when needed.
Can leviathans attack the Cyclops?
They won’t aggro on a Cyclops with the engine off. If they are already moving in to attack then turning the engine off will not prevent them from making at least one attack and then wandering off.
Can the Cyclops go in the Moonpool?
The mod was designed with a lot of love for the details and so the Cyclops Docking Mod fits in perfectly with the game. With this mod we now have the same comfort with the Cyclops as with the Seamoth / Prawn suit and the Moonpool: docking, switching directly to the base / vehicle, charging the batteries.
Why are the lights red in my Cyclops?
When in Silent Running, all of the Cyclops’ outside lighting is turned off, its interior lighting changes to red and it moves “exceedingly slowly”. This mode is perfect for sneaking past dangerous sea creatures, who now have a real interest in attacking your vehicle.
Can you fix a destroyed Cyclops?
Should everything fail and your ship ends up the chew toy of some underwater beast, the Cyclops leaves a large wreckage wherever it was destroyed. While you cannot repair the ship once it has become a wreck, explorers can salvage certain materials which may help build a replacement submarine.
What happens if your Cyclops is destroyed?
If a Cyclops’ health is totally depleted it will explode. Upon explosion: If the player is on board at the time, they will be killed instantly. Any docked Seamoth or Prawn Suit will be destroyed instantly.
Can anything destroy the Cyclops Subnautica?
Hostile Fauna Most Fauna cannot damage a Cyclops, and the player is immune to the attention of Warpers while they are inside the vehicle. Medium-sized predators such as Bonesharks and Stalkers can attempt to attack a Cyclops, but will not inflict any damage.
Do Warpers attack Cyclops?
Warpers do not recognize the Cyclops as a danger. The aforementioned rules do not pertain to the Cyclops. Warpers will ignore this vehicle and refrain from attacking it.
