Create a character in the source hardcore league, place an item in the inventory, die. The character and its inventory (not the stash) gets transferred to Standard (not to league softcore). Transferring items between other leagues is not possible within the game.
Can you transfer items between leagues PoE?
As you most likely already know, there is no direct way to transfer or trade PoE Currency between different game modes and Leagues. This includes both Softcore to Hardcore trading, as well as Standard to Leagues/Temporary Leagues currency transfers.

Hold shift (or something) and click on the item, then it will put things to the stash (like selling to vendors) and auto group/stack on items.
Can other people access my stash PoE?
Items in the stash are separated by league, meaning a character in the standard league can’t access the stash from the hardcore league, also, characters not in an event cannot access the Stash of those who are (ie: your Standard characters cannot interact with the Stash of those in the Delve Event).
