While prisoners are in their cells (Lockdown/Sleep regime) it is possible to move them to valid new cells by left-clicking(highlight) the prisoner and then right-click(move) the new cell.
Why are there no pillows in jail?
The mattresses and pillows are not designed to be comfortable. They are designed to be secure, i.e. hard to hide contraband in. That means the mattresses and pillows are thin with little padding. Jails are cold, even in the summer, but the blankets are also often thin and may itch to boot.
When do you move a prisoner from a holding cell?
Wait until you prisoners behave better and deserve a better room (bad idea, they will fight a lot if they are unhappy in an holding cell). If you actually have defined cells, guards will eventually move prisoners into them from the holding cell. If this isn’t happening, you may not have enough guards.
Why are prison guards not taking prisoners to cells?
that means that Prisoners cannot themselves walk to and from that block. your peremiter wall is only diagonally adjacent to your south block. that means the little outside area betwteen that block and the rest of your prison is Insecure. you can see that in Deployment. that means that Prisoners cannot themselves walk to and from that block.
What happens when you cancel the holding cell room?
Cancelling the holding cell room designation will force the prisoners out of the holding cell and allocate them a free cell each. Once you have more prisoners arriving than you have cells for you can mark the room as a holding cell again.
How can I get my prisoners to move?
If you have free guards and they’re still not moving, you can select each prisoner and manually order him into a cell. I don’t think you can manually order prisoners to move around, at least I can’t 🙂 Selecting a prisoner and right-clicking to move them somewhere else does nothing.
