Open the Archive Directly
- Log into your Gmail account (see Resources).
- Click the “More” link in the left column to show all your email message categories.
- Click the “Archives” link to show all the email messages in your archives.
- Log into your Gmail account.
Where is archives on my phone?
Tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines on the top left corner). Tap the Archive tab to see all the archived photos. You can also add images to the archive by selecting the Add to archive button. Tap on the images you want to archive.
How do I retrieve archived information?
Click on All Mail on the left. When you see the message, open it, and choose the Move to Inbox option to “un-archive” it. Alternatively, you can use the search feature to locate the message (the search box should be towards the top of the Gmail page).
Can you access National Archives?
Archivists are available to speak with you Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Center for Legislative Archives is located in the National Archives building in downtown Washington, DC. The National Archives provides free access to several subscription databases while at a National Archives facility.
How do I access government archives?
Go to the Catalog main page at: Conduct a search for the records of interest to you. You can search by keyword, National Archives Identifier (NAID), or type of archival material.
How do I find my archived text messages?
If you want to check your Archived messages, just open your Messages app and access the Menu by tapping the 3 dots at the upper right. Then tap on Archived.
What is archive vs delete?
Whether you delete or archive an email message, it disappears from your inbox. A deleted message goes into the trash folder, but an archived message is defaulted to the Archive folder or All Mail on Gmail / Google Apps.
How do I find archived emails?
To see archived emails on your Android device —> open your Gmail app —> click on the hamburger icon on top left, and then click on All Mail label. Here you will see all archived emails as shown in the screenshot below.

Can you search the National Archives for free?
We are making digital records available on our website free of charge for the time being, while our reading room services are limited. Registered users will be able to order and download up to ten items at a time, to a maximum of 100 items over 30 days.
Do archived messages get deleted?
Messages you archived aren’t deleted, and you can access them at any time. Gmail keeps your archived emails indefinitely or until you delete them. Only messages that are deleted are removed from the Trash after 30 days.
How can I access my archive?
Accessing the Archive Folder in Windows Mail Open Mail. It’s the app that has an icon that resembles an envelope on the right side of the Windows task bar. Click the All Folders icon. It’s the icon that resembles a folder in the left sidebar. Click Archive. This will access your archived emails.
What can you find in the archives?
You can visit the National Archives, nationwide, to: View exhibits of historical records and presidential papers: The Public Vaults and the Charters of Freedom (the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, and the Bill of Rights), located in Washington, D.C. Request records for your examination in our research rooms.
Where are my archived documents?
Once an item is posted to your accounts package, it moves from the inbox to the archive folder. Any archived documents can be found by going to the company homepage to which the document belongs. You can click into the Archive tab within each folder there.
How do I find archived files?
Find the directory where the archived files are stored. From the “Startup Menu,” select My Computer > [Computer Drive] > [Folder where the file is stored]. If you have more subdirectories, click the specific folders and subfolders until you find the file you are looking for.
