Installing Mods
- Make a backup file of your Minecraft world. It’s important to save your existing world in case the something goes wrong with the new mod.
- Download Minecraft Forge.
- Download compatible mods.
- Install mods by copying the files into the /mods/ folder.
- Select your mods and run them.
Can you add mods to vanilla Minecraft world?
In general you can add pretty much any mod and it will work properly with existing worlds.
How do you create a spawner in Minecraft?
A monster spawner can not be crafted in the game and you can’t dig up a spawner with a tool that has Silk Touch. However in Minecraft PE and Windows 10, a monster spawner is available through the Creative Inventory menu in Creative mode. And in the PC/Mac version, you can create a monster spawner using game commands.

Can you add mods to an already established world / server?
Yes, but if the mod has its own world gen, (terrain, ores, etc) you will have to venture to new chunks to see the changes. Like it or leave it. Hey, where are you going? Ah, really?
What happens when you install a mod on Minecraft?
The world will just generate with air blocks replacing non-vanilla blocks, and your non-vanilla items will just disappear. Re-installing the mod will not bring the blocks or items back, unless you do so before loading the world again.
