After purchasing a new Realm subscription and creating a new world within that Realm, you can access the new Realm game settings. At the bottom of the page, select Replace World and choose the backup you’ve created of your previous Realm. Your new Realm should now contain your previous world.
What happens to your realm when your free trial ends?
It automatically charges you for the realm unless you cancel your subscription. If you cancel it, once your trial is over you will be able to download your world and any backups of it but you or any of your friends won’t be able to log into the realm it self, just local game play via back up.

Can you save a realm world?
You can only download a world from a Realm that you own, as follows: Go to your Realms configuration by selecting the button with a tool symbol. From the Realms configuration screen, go to your World backups. Select the Download Latest button and follow the instructions on your screen.
How long is the realms free trial?

There is currently a free 30-day trial available to players that have not previously owned a realm. It’s available to you if you can see the diamond symbol as shown in the image below. If you try Realms and your trial period runs out, you can continue playing by subscribing.
Does your realm delete after 30 days?
Like a lot of trials, after 30 days it will charge to the credit card provided if it isn’t cancelled. But even if you cancel you still keep the realm, you just can’t access it until you pay for it.
