After the player enters an Atlas Station for the first time, they must use its Atlas Interface to interact with the Atlas and choose whether to continue down the Atlas Path.

If the player chooses to follow the Atlas storyline, then they will come across strange space stations run by the Atlas. Upon entering the station, they will be able to interact with the Atlas, using the Atlas Interface located inside of the station.

My first attempt was the right choice, at the end of your conversation with the Atlas you can either ‘reset simulation’ or ‘refuse Atlas’. If you want to stay in your current galaxy, pick ‘Refuse Atlas’.

Never seen anyone get to the center (and beat the game – with a proper ending) without the Atlas stones so it would be awesome to know if it can actually be done (with some kind of proof). But again, I think taking the atlas path is just one path. You can still reach the center by not having them.
How do you get to the next Atlas Interface?
Head to one Atlas Interface at a time – each time you reach a new Atlas Interface – there are eleven in total – the next will be highlighted on your galactic map. All you have to do is craft the Warp Cells to reach each one, and follow the path lit up for you on your map.
