To collect clue tokens on a location that contains a monster, the investigator must first either evade or fight the monster(s) to collect the token(s). Also, some investigators start the game with Clue Tokens, and some locations on the board will let an investigator trade various items in for Clue Tokens.
How do you play the clue it edition?
Setup
- Choose a Kid. Select the Kid you will be playing as and take the matching Personality Card.
- Distribute Cards. Separate the Rumor Cards into Kids, Items, and Locations. Secretly take one card from each pile and place it into the mystery envelope.
- Take a Clue Sheet. Always keep your CLUE Sheet to yourself!
How do you deal clue?
Without looking, the person shuffling takes one suspect card, one weapon card, and one room card, then slides the cards into the secret envelope. Then, someone else shuffles and deals the remaining cards clockwise to the players until all cards are dealt.
Do you have to move rooms in clue?
No. Excerpt taken from Cluedo 2000 rules : “You cannot stay in the same room whilst trying to eliminate it from the investigation; you must leave it and re-enter each time. You cannot leave and re-enter a room on the same turn, even by a different door.”
Where do you move tokens in the clue game?
