To open Treasure Pods, you must obtain Treasure Crackers from the Vacpack upgrade terminal. It is not necessary to use the gadgets you create to unlock the Treasure Crackers.
How do you use treasure pods in slime rancher?
Once you have unlocked your Lab, let the Extractor complete its first cycle. After that, look through the Vapack Upgrades. There, you’ll find the Treasure Cracker MKI. Using the Treasure Cracker MKI, you’ll be able to open up any green Treasure Pods you find hidden throughout Slime Rancher.
Where do you put the pump in slime rancher?
Location-based Slime Science Resources can be obtained using their respective extractor:
- Pumps in The Dry Reef can produce Deep Brine.
- Drills in The Indigo Quarry can produce Indigonium.
- Apiaries in The Moss Blanket can produce Wild Honey.
Can you mix a gold Plorts to other slimes?
The only items that won’t work are Water, Chickadoos, and other slimes. Shooting items at the Gold Slime will cause it to drop Gold Plorts and other resources, which can then be captured with your Vacpack. Gold Plorts cannot be combined to create hybrid Largos.
How do you unlock purple treasure pods?
To unlock all the final purple pods, you need to buy the treasure cracker MKIII for $25,000 Newbucks after building 100 gadgets in The Lab. These pods are found in every area of the game, but tend to be a bit more hidden or in out-the-way areas on islands.
Where is lava dust in slime rancher?
Lava Dust that is found in treasure pods can be found in both the Dry Reef and Ancient Ruins. There is reportedly more Lava Dust in the Dry Reef, but you will need access to Green, Blue, and Purple treasure pods.
Do Pink slimes eat gold Plorts?
This makes Gold Plorts the only type of Plort to appear in the Slimulation, as Slimes there will not eat and therefore won’t produce Plorts. However, these Gold Plorts can’t be taken out of the Slimulation.
