A new Quick Save option is now available for the single-player campaign. Players can now quickly save their mission progress by pressing Ctrl + Q.
How do you save StarCraft?
As of Patch 1.1, Quicksave functionality has been added to starcraft 2. Ctrl + Q will save the game.
Where are StarCraft 2 saved games stored?
In Windows, SC2SAVE files are saved by default in the \Users\[user]\My Documents\StarCraft II\Accounts\… \Saves\ directory. In Mac OS X, SC2 save files are stored by default in the [user]/Library/Application Support/Blizzard/StarCraft II/Accounts/…/Saves/ directory.
Is Starcraft 2 hard to learn?
The game has a really, really steep learning curve and the mechanics to just build things on time is hard for most Starcraft players. For a new player, this is the hardest part.
Does Starcraft 2 Save campaign online?
Yes and no. Your progress is stored in the cloud, but your actual savegames are not. You can fix this by simply copying your savegames between your computers. You can do this by hand or use a synchronization program.
Why do I not have a save file in StarCraft?
To my knowledge the game holds your save over the starcraft server, therefore if you don’t have an internet connection you don’t have a save file. So I don’t think you have to worry about it but I’d wait for someone else’s response just to be sure.
