- a Power Armor Frame can be scrapped with 1 rank in Settler Skill: Salvaging.
- pressing Space on a suit will convert a PA frame into an item (Power Armor Frame Voucher)
- You can manually scrap Power Armor pieces using your Field Kit (gives random materials based on helm, limbs, and torso)
Do power armor frames Respawn?
Fixed Power Armor locations, such as at Vertibkrds do not respawn, nor do frames in merchant inventories. That said, even between these two sources alone, there are dozens of Power Armor frames around the wasteland – you won’t run out.

Even without any pieces, a Power Armor frame provides a variety of advantages, like increased carry weight, greater melee damage and the elimination of falling damage. Any combination of power armor parts can be equipped on a power armor frame, which is a furniture object that does not exist in the inventory.
Can you make power armor Fallout 4?

Although it is currently impossible to loot the Power Armor frame from a dead NPC, there are two ways to prompt the NPC into stepping out of his armor. One is to destroy the Fusion Core, and the other is to pickpocket the Fusion Core from the NPC.
