Once your city “settles” (leave it run for a few hours, come back and you’ll see everything maxed out, dropped and maxed out again to the point where it should be sustainable) pop seems to stop growing until you zone in more stuff, raise happiness and add new ways into the city (airport, boats, trains, highways, etc).
Why are my citizens unhappy in cities skylines?
Unemployment, low health, and lack of safety causes unhappiness in citizens. Happiness is primarily achieved by offering your citizens all the required services, and by developing an efficient and balanced city. A low-level, low land value city can be quite a happy one.
Why is everyone sick in city skylines?
Your water pump is near polluting industries. The water can be polluted, and make masses of people sick… You need to put it somewhere not near pollution. Also make sure your clean water is coming from upstream of your poop sewage water.
Why do buildings disappear after a building is built?
Not all buildings do it, just some. I subscribe to an asset, find the correct zone area and according to the asset maker I colour the zone as residential, office etc. Place it, it builds, then….poof, gone. What am I doing wrong? Maybe the building is bound to a DLC you don´t own ?
Why are Cities Skylines suddenly abandoning my industry?
As to what Luisluix said that can be one of the problems but another major one is the industry trucks that carry the goods cannot get to there location, If you have a larger city or different segments here and there then you need to get the trucks to a easy access highway to deliver the goods and in return make you and the company money.
Why are my buildings and Zones completely disappearing in front of my eyes?
I have built a really nice city in Cities Skylines and all is going really well, everyone is happy, no problems with traffic or pollution, water, electricity etc. etc. So why are my buildings and coloured zones completely disappearing in front of my eyes?
Why is my industry suddenly abandoning the city?
If I check the buildings, the stated reason for abandoning is a lack of workers. I looked at the city statistics, but I can’t see any reason for the sudden lack of workers: The number of jobs is stable, the population increased. This doesn’t make any sense to me. Any idea what causes this and how to fix the situations?
