Open the magic panel, head to Shouts and unlock Bend Will to learn the final mystery of your enemy. If you don’t have a dragon soul, hunt for one in the wilderness of Skyrim (but not in Solstheim, or else Miraak will steal the soul for himself!).
Why can’t I unlock Bend will shout?
Try absorbing a dragon soul outside of the Solstheim region. I’ve noticed Miraak will typically absorb the souls of the more powerful dragons such as the Serpentine Dragon and/or the Elder Dragons. You shouldn’t need to restart your entire campaign to resolve this. I’ve been having this issue.
How many dragon souls do you need to learn Bend will?
If the shout you’re trying to unlock is three words long, you may need three souls to unlock it. You may have the wrong shout selected. Skyrim’s UI is tricky sometimes, and you’ll have a different menu item highlighted than you think. Shout = word + dragon soul.
How many times do you have to use the bend will shout on Miraak?
The process will repeat four times – the last one to die will be Sahrotaar, who might try to attack you before that (using Bend Will again will kill him). The tactic against Miraak is quite easy – stay as close to him as possible and attack in close combat (he’s far more dangerous during a ranged fight).
Why is Miraak stealing my dragon souls?
The stealing really is supposed to happen because the devs assume you have completed the main plot at this point, and have stockpiled Dragon Souls, but I you can use these tips to avoid it: Using Ahzidal’s boots of Waterwalking, kill a dragon on the water and SUCC the soul. Miraak cannot appear on water.
Can you use the bend will shout on Miraak?
Miraak Follower is a mod made for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It involves an alternate ending to The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn in which the Bend Will shout is used to make Miraak a follower. Once they have been defeated, Miraak will go on his own ways and will return to Solstheim when a day has passed.
Why won’t Bend will work on Sahrotaar?
Make sure you are using all three words of the shout, as any less will be completely ineffective. If it continues not to work, try killing yourself in Apocrypha so you are forced back to Solstheim, then re-enter the black book and try again.
What happens if you use Bend will on alduin?
