Limit Break is a party ability in Final Fantasy XIV. When in a party of four or more, players will have access to the limit gauge, which gradually fills during the course of battle. When a limit gauge is full, the stored energy can be used to activate limit breaks.
Should I use limit break?
Use the limit break as soon as it is up. There are a FEW examples where you want to save it, but you pretty much use asap. You should be able to, in most dungeons/raids, use it on every boss. People are just ignorant and like to use it as the killing blow, wasting about half of its potency.
