Concept of a territory is one of the central in Go — after all the entire game is a struggle for it. Definition of a territory is deceptively simple — it is an empty space surrounded by an uninterrupted line of stones of the same color (only horizontal and vertical holes are considered to be interruptions).
How does capture capture work?
Black 1 captures twelve stones in the upper left, four stones in the lower left, three stones in the upper right and three stones in the lower right. When you capture stones in a game, you put them in your prisoner pile. Then, at the end of the game, these captured stones are placed inside your opponent’s territory.
What is a dead stone in go?
After both players have passed consecutively, the stones that are still on the board but unable to avoid capture, called dead stones, are removed.
What to do when your game capture is not working?
Try toggling the Anti-cheat hook on or off. If that did not help, adjust in-game settings to borderless fullscreen instead of (exclusive) fullscreen if used or try a window capture then instead (while using borderless fullscreen).
