Every egg type has a certain range of candies, for 10KM it is 16-32 candies, if I’m not mistaken, because I never got anything outside that range (Not counting the double candies event)….r/TheSilphRoad.

About getting more 10 km eggs: It is all just luck. Even though I feel that at some stops I get more 10 km eggs, I think that’s just perception. It really doesn’t matter. It just makes them rarer, same reason you cannot trash 2 km/5 km. 7 km eggs are fine until you got everything from them, then they are pretty much an annoyance.
