Can you run out of keys in the Water Temple?

There is no Water Temple key glitch. Look harder. The Water Temple doesn’t have any “wrong doors” because you always open them in the same order. The keys can be collected in more than one order, but no matter which one you get before the other you can’t get stuck in the temple because of how it’s designed.

Can you get permanently stuck in the Water Temple?

Here’s the truth: It is NOT possible to become permanently stuck. Usually the explanation given is that the player has not found either the Small Key located under the floating platform in the center hub or the small key that requires you to revisit a room with water at mid-level and use a bomb.

Where is the boss key in the Water Temple?

Wait for a boulder to pass, then jump into the water to the right and equip the Iron Boots. Take out the lone Shell Blade with your Longshot, and float up to the final locked door. The Boss Key awaits you in the next room.

Jump into the water and swim to the other side. Climb onto the ledge and you’ll see a floor switch at the south end of the room. You can use Zora Link and leap up to this ledge, but the MUCH easier method is to simply use Deku Link and jump across the water. Step on the switch and a treasure chest containing a Small Key will appear.

Where do you change into Goron Link in stone tower?

Put on the Goron Mask and either fall down or take the nearby stairs to the lower room. In this room (which is very dark in the Nintendo 64 version), stand in the light and use the Mirror Shield to reflect the light onto the Sun Block in front of you. Change into Goron Link and march through the lava.

Where to get stray Fairy in stone tower temple?

Before leaving, there is a Stray Fairy to get as well. Look up at the ceiling where the sun is shining in from. There is a nearby target, so latch onto it using the Hookshot and then open the chest to get the second Stray Fairy. Return upstairs and use the Small Key on the locked door.
