How do I enable chips in Rec Room?
If your Permissions in a room allow you to use the Maker Pen and view gadgets, you can create chips with the “Gadgets” tab of Palette. These chips appear as small black boxes. Most of the chips can be configured with the Configure mode of the Maker Pen.
What happens when you get reported in Rec Room?
For the most part, bans will be placed some time after the reports, as staff will need to review the reports. These bans can prohibit you from participating in any on-going promotions and programs held by Rec Room.

Can you do split screen in Rec Room?
Yes, room creators can choose to not support screens mode, to support it but have rooms be instanced by VR or screens only rooms, or support mixed rooms where they can interact. Most AG activities are currently set to support both but instance them separately.
Is Rec Room safe for 10 year olds?
Kids aged 12 and under can only sign up for a junior account on Rec Room. This means they don’t have access to any of the chat features and can’t talk to anyone on the app. We would recommend that children 16 and under only play in a private room and with people they know, like school friends.
Is Rec Room 2 Player on Xbox?
Yes! You will be in the same games as players on Xbox, Oculus, Steam, and iOS!

How to change your username in Rec Room?
To change your @username, please visit Log into your account and navigate to your profile by clicking your profile picture on the top right. Find the settings cog icon to go into your account settings.
How many players can you have in a rec room?
One player per account. The player must match the birth date on the account. This rule does not apply to private/unlisted rooms. But whatever you choose to do in a private or unlisted room, be sure that everyone present is cool with it.

What happens if you kick a player in the Rec Room?
If a majority of players vote yes, the player will be removed to their dorm room and unable to rejoin your room for that session. Votes to kick do not require a Code of Conduct violation like reports do.
