There are several ways to get another key for a portal when you already have one:
- Use the “Request Key” option in the Hack menu.
- Use the MORE command glyph before a glyph hack.
- Put your existing keys into a capsule before you hack.
- Drop your keys before you hack.
- Put your keys in a quantum capsule for duplication.
How do you get Portal keys in ingress?
A Portal key can be acquired in a couple of ways: hacking portals or destroying links and then picking it up (Portal keys drop some of the time when you destroy links and they drop at the originating portal for that link, not the terminating/destination portal).
What do Portal Keys do in ingress?
Portal keys have a two functions (that I know of), you need a portal key to create links between portals. When near a portal and you try to create a link to a second portal, ingress will only show possible links to portals of which you have a key.
What does multi hack do ingress?
The Multi-Hack mod increases the amount of times a portal can be hacked by an Agent before burning out the portal. When used in combination with the Heat Sink, this mod can be great in farms to increase the item return in a short amount of time.
How do you deploy a drone in ingress?
To deploy a Drone:
- Tap the Main Menu and tap Dronenet to initialize access to the Drone Network and enter DRONE FOOTAGE view.
- From DRONE FOOTAGE view, you can either MOVE a Drone to a Target Portal or RECALL an already deployed Drone.
- Use the DRONE FOOTAGE view to select a Target Portal.
What does the drone in ingress do?
Through access to the Dronenet, Agents can deploy Drone Mark I to any neutral, friendly, or enemy Portal that is visible on the Scanner’s map screen. Each deployment or redeployment of Drone Mark I allows Agents to Hack or Glyph Hack a Portal once.
What is the point of the drone in ingress?
It is also a tool for keeping Sojourner streaks since Drone hacks do count toward Sojourner as well as the Hacker-medal. Agents can also use the Drone to visit new unique Portals with it, venturing out with it, visiting as many Portals as they can, or venturing out as far as they can.
