It’s still a fine game. Best part is how fast games go once everyone gets the flow. For experienced players, I’d almost go so far as to call it a filler game (and I mean in a good way, quick and still providing strategy).

7 Wonders is pretty easy to learn. The biggest challenges are the odd scoring mechanics and all the symbols. Most cards use the same commonly-seen symbols, so you can learn them in advance, then keep the quick-reference sheet nearby for the uncommon symbols (which mostly appear late-game).

First, there is a new age 3 military card, and a new age 3 economy card. The new military card is probably just to make it easier to build more military in the final age in larger games. I doubt it will have much of an impact on the game, or that most players will even notice it.
Which is better 7 Wonders or 7 Wonders Duel?
Even as hundreds of new drafting games have come out, 7 Wonders still stands strong as one of best of them (though, I’m still debating if 7 Wonders Duel beats the original or not). 7 Wonders strategy is just so deep, and so satisfying to pick apart.
