Shortly after their initiation into the Circle, Skjor helps the Dragonborn become a werewolf as well. However, he is killed by the Silver Hand when he ventures into one of their strongholds to scout it out for the Dragonborn and Aela.

She marries you (Or can marry you) because she isn’t in a relationship. The only conclusion I come to is the simple fact that Aela is NOT in any relationship with Skjor and they just go hunting together. Aela and Skjor are not in a relationship what so ever, they were just pack members.
Are Companions missions endless?
No, these quests do not end. These are simply due to the Radiant A.I., and never ending quests. Also, as the Harbinger, you’re not the leader, it would be better described as an adviser to the council of Companions. The Companions have not had a leader since Ysgrimor thousands of years before the game of Skyrim.

When do Farkas and skjor join the companions?
Once you arrive again in Jorrvaskr after helping any member of the Companions with a Radiant Quest, Skjor will ask you to help him find a rumored piece of Ysgramor’s Blade. This is going to be your test for official membership into the Companions, and Farkas will join you for your journey to Dustman’s Cairn.
Where to find skjor after the Silver Hand?
Bugs Sometimes Skjor will reappear in Jorrvaskr, alive or dead, after he dies during the events of The Silver Hand. He may also reappear in Jorrvaskr and still give out quests. Sometimes Skjor can be found wandering Skyrim while half-buried in the ground after finishing the quest The Silver Hand.
