A few months back we reported on a fearless web developer intent on saving every last post submitted to our fallen hero, Miiverse. Amazingly, the project is now complete and a brand new version of Nintendo’s social media foray is now available, complete with a fully indexed, searchable archive.
How do I download Miiverse posts?
You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse. Head to this page, log in and follow the directions. There’s a big button at the base of the page that reads “Request Post History.” You’ll eventually receive a file download.
How do I access Miiverse?
Miiverse can be accessed at any time on Nintendo 3DS family systems or Wii U. Press the HOME Button to access the HOME Menu and click the Miiverse icon to open Miiverse. You can then browse communities, post comments and replies to others.
