Location. Castle Volkihar is located in a previously inaccessible region in the far northwest corner of Skyrim, near the sea border with High Rock. The entrance can initially be accessed via Icewater Jetty, northwest of Northwatch Keep. The castle can also be reached by Ferrymen, or by swimming across the channel.
Why can’t I enter Volkihar keep?
PC 360 PS3 Sometimes the gate to Castle Volkihar does not open after the gate keeper says his line, or does not say it at all. This can occur if Castle Volkihar is discovered beforehand, although this is not proven, nor has this yet been addressed by Bethesda.
Can you fix Castle Volkihar?
If you complete the quest Kindred Judgment for the Volkihar, you can repair the passage from Volkihar Keep to the courtyard by speaking to Garan Marethi. If you go to the Soul Cairn after the questline is complete and inform Valerica of Harkon’s death, she will return to Castle Volkihar and replant her garden.
Can you save serana without joining Dawnguard?
No. But you don’t help them if you’re a vampire do you? You agree to check out the cave with Vigilant Talos, but in the end you take Serana and her Elder Scrolls to Harkon and the Dawnguard gain nothing.
What happens to Castle Volkihar after Dawnguard?
If the Dragonborn is a member of the Dawnguard, the Armored Troll may remain outside Castle Volkihar after the main quest has finished (if it was not killed). It will still be there if the Dragonborn leaves and then returns.
How do you get into Castle Arqade bloodline?
Leave the Crypt and go to Volkihar Castle. (You might also get there by swimming instead of fast travel or using the Icewater Jetty.) Fix: Use a plate to go through the gate into the castle. The quest will continue as normal.
How to obliterate the gate in Bloodline quest?
PC only: using the console command “markfordelete” with the gate selected, then fast traveling away, then fast traveling back to the icewater jetty, then returning to the castle normally will obliterate the gate. command “tcl”, and just go through the damn thing. Then turn it off of course.
What happens if you do not complete the bloodline quest?
With that conversation the Bloodline quest is over and the next one starts. If you do not ESC out of the conversation then it glitches and Serana gets banished with you outside the castle (depending on choice) and if you look at the quest log Bloodline will be grey (completed) but the objectives will not be met.
Where do you take Serana in the bloodline quest?
Bloodline is the Dawnguard quest where you free Serana from Dimhollow Crypt and take her to a boat at Icewater Jetty, then on to Castle Volkihar. My problem is I can’t get into the castle.
