How does stave off work on death touch?
Stave Off stops it from doing any damage at all, so I believe the deathtouch trigger doesn’t apply. For multicolor cards, it’s treated as being a source of each of the colors. Protection from Black would stop a Black/Blue card since it’s black. At least, that’s how it’s been explained to me.
