Which is the better game, Civilization IV or VI?
I would get Civ 4 now, and consider 6 if it were on sale. 4 is the better game because the diplomacy is superior and has more options, and the AI is functional. Civ 6 isn’t bad. The district system is sort of interesting, and tile management is actually pretty involved. And as with V, the new combat system involves less RNG.
What does the title screen on Civilization IV look like?
The title screen is simple and uncluttered, but sports as a background an animating image of the globe which, if you show a little patience, changes quite spectacularly between day and night. And this is indicative of the game as a whole. Everything has been completed to a very high standard, and everything gels together really well.

What’s the difference between Civ IV and Civ V?
I also like the vassal-state and colony system of Civ IV. In Civ V only individual cities can be puppet cities, but entire civilizations cannot be vassal-states, whereas in Civ IV, a civilization can make an entire civilization into a vassal-state.
Which is the best achievement for Civilization V?
Most of the DLC civs have only achievement from winning a game with them. Beat the game on any difficulty setting as Washington. Unsurprisingly, Washington is a leader biased towards domination victory. Unique ability Manifest Destiny is not really useful as it only increases vision of land units by +1 and gives 50% discount on buying land tiles.
