Quelaag is a daughter of the Witch of Izalith and, along with most of her family, failed to escape from the chaotic flame and was corrupted by it. Due to exposure to the flame, Quelaag and her sister mutated into spider-like creatures with their upper body being fused to the monsters’ backs.
Can you avoid Quelaag?
Technically, you can skip her, but skipping her looks like it’s much harder than just killing her. Here is a video and the speedsouls page for reference. Alternatively, you could probably use cheat engine to set a flag so the game considers Quelaag dead, but you wouldn’t get her soul if you did that.
Should I kill Quelaag’s sister?
Quelaag’s Sister is very frail and dies in one or two hits by most forms of attacks. She does not retaliate. However, killing her will aggro her servant, Eingyi, though he is far from a threat.
What is Quelaag weak to?

Can Quelaag be parried?
Yes, as a person with above average timing, I have parried them. I usually don’t try to block a furysword unless I’m using a black knight shield because of fire damage.
What level should I be for Quelaag?
Recommended Level: 30-35 Quelaag can be an incredibly hard boss fight all by herself, but having to wade through the swamps of Blightown and avoid being crushed by giant boulders makes the journey back equally as difficult.
What happens if I kill the daughter of chaos?
Betrayal Penalties Attacking the Daughter of Chaos counts as betraying the covenant. Killing the Daughter of Chaos will deactivate the bonfire and give you a Fire Keeper Soul. You can still warp to this fire once deactivated.
Why is the fair lady dying?
Called “The Fair Lady” by her attendant Eingyi, she is the leader of the Chaos Servant covenant. Blind, weak, and on the verge of death after swallowing the blight pus of the residents of Blighttown, she is completely immobile and was made Fire Keeper of the nearby bonfire to keep her alive.
How do I get to Quelaag without getting poisoned?
Wear high poison resistance gear, get the rusted iron ring and poison bite ring, and run very fast. You’ll probably still be poisoned, but that’s the only way I can think of to avoid having it proc easily.
Can Capra Demon be parried?
Attacks. Normal Attack, cannot be parried, can be blocked. Two Handed Sword Attack, two great machetes at ones attacks, cannot be blocked.
What level should I be to fight Ornstein and Smough?
According to the Namco FAQ, I should be able to be summoned by people between level 37 and 45.
Why is quelaag hostile in the first Dark Souls?
In the first Dark Souls, when you enter Quelaag’s Domain she attacks you without any discussion or trying to know why you have entered there. Her sister, however, shows no hostility and neither does her servant, even though you killed Quelaag.
Why is quelagg hostile to the Fair Lady?
Quelagg is hostile because she is protecting her sister, the Fair Lady. You are an intruder, so she attacks you, regardless of what your intentions actually are, because she can’t take the risk that you might find her sister and kill her.
Why is quelaag hostile to the chaos Covenant?
Keep in mind that speaker of these lines can’t be confirmed as the lines only exist as sound files, but they seem to show that more of a story was planned for Quelaag and the chaos covenant, which didn’t make it into the game for unknown reasons.
How does quelaag’s sister communicate with the player?
She cannot communicate with the player unless they equip the Old Witch’s Ring . As Humanity is offered to her through the Chaos Servant covenant, her legs appear to move with more strength than they originally did. Quelaag’s Sister was a Daughter of Chaos before the disaster that befell Izalith.
