Upon beating the game, your save file will be automatically kicked to New Game Plus. This is a second playthrough mode, where the enemies get stronger, but the blood echo rewards also grow considerably, allowing you to continually progress your character.
Can you have multiple saves in Nioh?
Assumingly starting a “new game” creates a seperate save file so you can’t really delete/mess up a previous savefile unless you manually delete a save from the load save screen.

Shrines serve as checkpoints in Nioh. Pray at them fully restores health and allows William to use the Shrine Menu, where certain actions, such as levelling up, changing Guardian Spirits and sumoning Visitors is possible.

– Normal and TVHM are independent of each other, so the sidequests reset when you do each. So it’s best to just take rewards as you go through Normal so you can make full use of them, but start saving them in TVHM in preparation of UVHM.
How to create a new character in single player?
Copy/Paste the entire contents of that folder to a fresh folder on your Desktop and then delete the contents inside this folder. Log into single player and the save will be clean and you can start fresh.

How does a new character delete an old one?
New character deletes old one. So I was checking the new update about how buildings delete after so much time and on my own toon I can’t see the timer and was wondering if it was a set timer as when the building was placed or resets everytime you log in server.
Can you have more than one character at a time?
You can only have one character on a map at a time… so the only way around it is to upload one and then play with the other. NONE of the information from one character will show up with the other… but it sounds like you are OK with that.
