If your Pokemon Bank pass expires, you have a certain amount of time in which to withdraw any Pokemon you currently have stored. Unfortunately, after this period elapses, those Pokemon are lost, and we unfortunately do not have any way to restore them, even if you purchase a new pass.
Will Pokemon Bank ever be free again?
* Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter will be available at no cost until March 12th, 2020, allowing players to grab Pokémon from their 3DS games without a Bank subscription. However, you still need a Premium Home subscription to move them from Bank to Pokémon Home.

Additional notes: In order to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME, you’ll need to have completed the tutorial for the mobile device version of Pokémon HOME.

Pokemon Home is live. The new Pokemon cloud storage service is now available on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices. While the app is free to download and use, you have the option to purchase a premium plan, which grants you access to more storage space and additional features not available in the free version.

Start Pokémon Bank on your Nintendo 3DS family system. If you haven’t started your Nintendo 3DS family system in a while, you may be asked to update your system.
Is there a way to update Pokemon Bank on Pokemon home?
Open Pokémon Bank. If it prompts for an update, make sure to update to the newest version right away. Otherwise, it might not be able to connect to Pokémon HOME. Press A to get past the start menu. Don’t worry if it tells you that it “could not find data that is compatible with Pokémon Bank.”
Do you have to have a Nintendo Switch to use Pokemon bank?
Pokemon HOME Premium does not require a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription to work. If you don’t already have Pokemon Bank, you can find it by connecting your 3DS to the internet, and searching for “Pokemon Bank” on the eShop. Use the same Nintendo account for both Pokemon bank and Pokemon Home.
