Just figured this out on my second playthrough. It’s an awful lot to sit through if you’ve already seen it all. If you walk onto the next “bridge” the path will open up to the next memory sequence all the way until the last one.

Nick is a key part of the quest so no matter which companion you have with you, Nick will be waiting at The Memory Den in Goodneighbor. Fast travel to Park Street Station then head east from there.
