The Underground Hallow biome can be found directly beneath a naturally-generated Hallow biome. The Hallow does not exist in newly-generated worlds. It is generated along with a large Underground Hallow biome when the Wall of Flesh is defeated for the first time and the world converts to Hardmode.
How many corruption biomes can spawn?

The Corruption or The Crimson will always spawn in a world. A generated world will only contain one of the two biomes, each with a 1/2 (50%) chance….Corruption and Crimson counterparts.

Can corruption take over jungle?
Jungle grass spreads much more slowly than ordinary grass. Additionally, there is a danger that the Jungle can be completely overtaken by the spread of Corruption/Crimson once Hardmode has been in effect for some time, making essential Jungle items more difficult to acquire.
Can evil biomes spread through walls?
These vines can spread their biomes to nearby blocks (in Hardmode) and walls as above. Therefore, it is possible for an evil biome to spread over a gap in pre-Hardmode, if its thorny bushes happen to grow across it and touch dirt or grass on the other side.
What kind of mimics can spawn in jungle biome?
Because of the presence of enough blocks to create an overall Jungle biome, with additional snow and crimson, any of Ice Mimic, Hallowed Mimic, or Crimson Mimic can spawn. Is the corruption biome compatible with the Crimson biome?
Some biomes are compatible with one another – for example you can have Cavern enemies spawn in an Underground Crimson Biome, Snow enemies in a Corruption. While it takes many more blocks for these ‘normal’ Biomes to change their background and spawns, Corruption and Crimson only require a few hundred blocks!
Are there patches of melons in the jungle?
Jungle Biomes will sometimes have patches of Melons, similar to Pumpkin patches, spawn in them. As of snapshot 13w47b Jungle Biomes spawn always next to Jungle Edge biomes and more rarely Jungle M biomes.
When do monsters spawn in corruption and Crimson?
